| I'm a teenager and vegetarian. I refuse to eat meat, fish, or poultry of any kind. But now I have a problem: I'm developing a protein deficiency. My mother insists that I find a healthy source to get protein from. I've tried shakes. I've tried beans. Neither of them is something I could bring myself to eat every day, or as much as I need to. I just can't stand beans in the first place. I'm going to try different flavors of shakes, but the few I've tried just really taste horrible. I eat some peanut butter, which is good, but very high in fat. I'm trying to stick to a healthy diet, so...peanut butter isn't working as my only source of protein. I also eat cheese, which has limited protein, but still not enough. Is there any way I could get protein pills? Or are there veggies [NOT beans] that are high in it?
