| Stock up on ice water because you are going straight to hell. As a matter of fact, lets head off some of the misery...go ahead and do yourself in. That will save everyone some effort.

| I would definately write a letter of complaint as another individual suggested. I would advise management that they should be more detailed and honest in listing ingredients on the menu. Do more research ahead of time.

| Part of me doesn't care what other people eat, a tiny part of me thinks vegetarians and vegans should start eating meat if they wish to be healthy, and a huge part of me, the Chef part, will cook whatever you want, however you want it and I feel that all Chefs should share the same view. That being said, I think you should complain and demand some sort of satisfaction.

| Put in a written complaint but don't kill yourself about it; it was not your fault the chicken broth was added. Maybe the waitress was a newbie and forgot to tell the cook "no chicken broth".

| These things occur and even with the best intentions accidents can happen.I agree with the poster who says tell them you are allergic to meant and meat products (I reckon I am allergic - morally allergic...) and people do take allergies more seriously than 'just' being someone who doesn't want to eat any animal products.It doesn't mean you are no longer a vegan. Do the best you can on any day and take things a day at a time.
