| My wife and I are on a low-fat diet....we are trying to drop a little extra weight over the next 2 months or so. I dont drink soda (diet or regular) and I drink a lot of pure spring water (Ozarka). I am trying to figure out what else I can drink without harming my diet to much. Currently these are my options.....regular tea with sweet-n-low, crystal light sugar free juices, V-8 fruit smoothies with 33% less sugar, and black coffee...These are the items I currently have stock piled. None of them have fat and most of them are fairly low in sugar (v-8 has 15-18 grams of sugar). Are these drinks plus my normal water ok?? I cannot give up coffee, but I am willing to negotiate the rest. Please, let me know what you think.Thanks in advance!

| you can try coconut water.. very low on calories and gives you good energy as well.. its the best... you can drink as much as you want...

| i like water with a slice of lemon or get sparkling water. be sure it's sparkling water not sparkling water beverage which has sweeteners in it. although most of the sweeteners are low-cal/sugar free, to me they are too sweet.

| it sounds like you and your wife are doing just fine with the choices of drinks that you both have chosen you are drinking lots of water that is the most important drink of all you should try to drink at least six 8oz classes a day and dont worry about the coffee i refused to give it up .coffee is not bad for you it is what you put in it and you said you drink it black so congradulations to you and your wife on a job well done keep up the good work it sounds to me like you and your wife are doing everything correctly and remember you dont have to give your coffee up you and your wife have it under control good luck to the both of you
