What day of the week is it best to buy fish?

My husband say Sunday is not a good to have fish, even thou I wanted to buy.

Ask the butcher of the grocery store where you shop what day(s) they get their fish deliveries and put it out; in other words, which day the fish on sale will be freshest.

Depends where you live and when the fresh fish comes in. On the coasts, you can probably get fresh fish daily. Here inland, we count on fresh fish IN RESTAURANTS only on Fri, Sat & Sun as their clientele diminishes Mon through Thur and they don't bring it in. In markets, we can get fresh fish daily.

Monday, thats when most places get their fish delivered, they usually try to get rid of the weeks fish that didn't sell on sunday

For a non veg every day is good to have fish. As eating more fish is healthy than eating other nonveg.
