am i suppose to buy a pet out off a store or adopt and rescue a "companion animal" ? cuz buying a pet and ownig it means ownig a friend slave where can i adopt a gold fish?do i call it an compianion animal instead of pets?

Having pets seems a little bit counterintuitive if you are trying to indeed treat the animal as a human, because even if you treat it as a "companion", the pet has no choice of whether it wants to be with you or not. Further, you would have to deal with getting the pet neutered, etc., which although of course necessary in practical terms for these animals and may be the most "humane" thing to do, is "inhumane" as you are taking away the creature's right to reproduce and it has no power in the decision.

www.petfinder.org for a list of animals in shelters that you can adopt. It's a longshot to find a goldfish, but it could happen. All kinds of homeless pets on this site. You can get purebred animals. All are spayed/nutered and up to date on shots. Keep in mind that getting a "free" kitten will cost you $250+ in vet fees to get all the vaccinations (multiple office visits) and the spay or nuter. The adoption fee for a shelter animal will always be less than what you end up spending to vet an animal yourself. Your "slave animal" is more like an adopted family member. It's not like they have to get a job or wash your floors or anything.

i m a vegatarian but i feed my pets with chicken stewand infact cook non veg food for my family i respect them a smuch it is matter of personal choice
