| I have been a vegetarian for 3 years. I have been having hair loss lately and Im trying to do everything I can to stop hair loss.I heard hair needs proteins and zinc. Lamb and liver has a lot of zinc and good proteins.What other foods besides meat can I eat to get my zinc?

| I suggest you take supplements, the types of nutrients that are in meat that keep hair healthy are not really found elsewhere in the right combinations. In order to absorb the zinc from something other than meat you would need to have it with calcium and in specific amounts. Your only real shot at this is in a carefully prepared supplement.Eat stacks of nuts, and if you are vegetarian for animal welfare reasons try to learn to get past it only as it applies to oysters. They are evil anyway, and are massively high in zinc.

| yup, it's true, i used to be vegan, so i know. i used to take a supplement, but i'm sure you can find it in veggies, i just don't remember what veggies.
