Am I the only one who is repulsed by the flavour of splenda. I can no longer tolerate diet/sugar-free drinks since they came out with that stuff. Always searching for unsweetened-plain-tea. Any other sugar free suggestions besides bottled water? Seltzers are ok.Twelve spoonful o' sugar regular sodas are not a good idea for people watching their weight or when diabetes runs in the family. I'm on the road a lot so I'm referring to whats available at conveniance stores, restaurants and the like.--at home it's plain tea or juice diluted with lots of water -- (and gatorade is quite loaded with sugars).

why can't you find unsweet tea? do you live in tennessee? do you have something against sugar? i don't like splenda, but not because of the taste. i'm pregnant right now, so i can't have artificial stuff anyway. i drink water, tea (unsweet-and you can make some yourself, you know), gatorade, regular pop sometimes...

Hello:I agree with what you are saying 100%,splenda is the nastiest tasting stuff that I have ever had! I can always tell when something has Splenda in it,because it tastes like a really bad,nasty,chemical. People laugh at me when I say this,but I can ALWAYS tell when somebody uses splenda in baked goods,non-alcoholic drinks,or as a sugar substitute,because splenda is just repulsive,ewww gross! *SHUDDERS and GAGS* :-( I would like to know who in the heck thinks that splenda actually tastes,"like sugar,"or,"good,"because it doesn't! The taste of splenda reminds me of the soft drink of the 1980's called,"Tab,"that was a diet soft drink and it tasted so nasty!Nurse and mother to a beautiful little princess! ;-)

Splenda is made with aspartame, which is in a lot of foods and snacks, unfortunately. It's a poison, and will actually make holes in your brain tissue. Best to avoid diet drinks altogether.
