| Alright, here's the deal. My best friend and i have the same birthday- and we want to host a murder mystery party! We have two main theme ideas- either a sort of masquerade, Venetian theme, or simple Halloween (u know, vampires, witches, the lot). It needs to be teen appropriate. I'd not like to spend any money online for the actual game and story... Could anyone suggest a good murder story we could adapt? We've got until October, so we have time. I've actually got a very old-looking Venetian hand painted mask, some Murano glass pens and jewelry.... any suggestions? Free websites would be helpful!

| I think the standard Halloween theme will be easier for teens to find costumes for. The Venetian theme would be cool but costumes would be expensive. Be sure to plan everything. I was the murderer in a murder party once and I was told about the clues and stuff but they didn't tell me how to announce that I was the murderer. When the people started guessing that I was it, I didn't know what to do.

| Just get one of those 2 minute mystery books from Walden Books or something. It wont take long to act out and all you'd have to do is incorporate the venetian part into the story..for instance instead of a murder based in Engand Just change the settings a little. You'll have a lot of fun!
