Hypocritical vegetarian?

This year i became a vegetarian (for many reasons such as i dont like the taste of almost any meat, i dont want to eat animals (it feels weird), i'm against animal cruelty, its better for our environment since it takes up less resources, and because its actually healthier in some instances) however, before i became a vegetarian i got a car w/ leather interior and 2 partly leather purses. is it wrong for me to keep these now that i'm a vegetarian? and would it be really hypocritical if i bought like a purse that had leather trim or leather shoes?

Vegans don't buy any leather products.Since your a vegetarian it's fine.

roflmaoHeh, typical reasoning for a vegetarian. That is ok you stay vegetarian.....leaves more for people like me that enjoy eating animals.

It depends on how strongly you feel about it. Obviously, you already have the car, which you owned before. You have to transport somehow, but you didn't know you'd be a vegetarian. As for doing it now? I wouldn't buy leather items as it WOULD be hypocritical to what you believe in. If you feel badly about the car and purses why would you continue to buy leather products? They sell alot of products that are leather free. It's a matter of looking at the labels in some things. (Wallets, belts, etc.)Hope this helped.
