How much does a caterer make in a year?

It depends on many different factors, the biggest is how well you know the business and can corectly cost out the event and be able to make a good profit. I have done jobs the have netted 5 grand, but have lost money too. I don't loose money any more. As time goes by, many of your costs decrease due to many factors. I used to do this full time a few years back and made about 65,000 a year. But the time constraints were too much as I wanted more out of my family like. Yes, catering is a full time job plus a whole lot more.
