How do you open a tin can?

Lol, It's true.. I don't know how to open a can. I have that tool to open it. But I need someone to explain how to open it before I end up stabbing my hand with a knife. "I stab the tin can with a knife this is 100% Dangerous. -.-Anywayss, it's a can of chicken noodle soup. XD How do I open it with that tool? Don't know what it's called. :/Any more info? Been trying to open that blasted can for 30 minutes... >_>The can opener has 2 lines and a twistble thing..The can opener has 2 handles and a twistble thing..

Please describe your can opener in another question.Then we can tell you how to use it.One of the more popular can openers has two long handles and one thing you twist around. Take the end where the two handles meet or the head and place the blade on the inside of the can lip and the grabber wheel on the outside. Close the two handles together tightly and twist the handle near the head and cut all around the lid.Hopefully this will help.

next time get the chicken noodle soup with the pop top. campbells has them.you could always use a church key (it the can opener that just punctures little triangles), and just punch the triangles all around the can. next time you see a friend have them show you how to use a real one. it's something everyone should know.good luck.
