I've recently become a vegetarian, so I am no expert in that area..other than that of what foods ARE and AREN'T.Eggs are animal products, yes, but they aren't taboo for vegetarians. (They would be if the eggs are fertilized..Icckkk.) They are actually a good source of our protein, aside from tofu and nuts. (But I prefer eggs, myself.)Hope that helped!!

you need to make sure how chickens are treated before you make a decision. i own three chickens, so i eat their eggs because the eggs would just go to waste but i treat them very good they're my babies

I'm a veg and I eat eggs...I've kind of grown sick of them now though, but they are a great source of protein for vegetarians. Like anything, they should be taken in moderation. If you're going to eat eggs, please buy free range, anti-biotic, steroid and pesticide free eggs. Thanks!
