We're having rib-eye steak, potato salad (made with the tiny Yukon yellows) with ice cream and coconut cake for dessert. We'll have some fresh fruit and 'veggies' during the day for snacks ... and we're staying at home, and watching the fireworks from our balcony again ... just the two of us. We'll probably play at our computers most of the day (WoW) and will have lots of FUN with no pressure.

Try cinnamon toast! It's just Bread with butter, sugar and cinnamon put in the oven until slightly crispy. If you use the right amount of butter it's even a little chewy. After all, kids love Cinnamon Toast! Delicious!

How about some littleneck clams on the grill? As long as the grill is hot toast up some bread and top with your choice maybe a nice garlicky tomato salsa. Grilled veggies, asparagus, zuchinni,eggplant. Happy 4th!

Well, you could make a pale blue angel cake (just use 2 or 3 drops of food color), serve it with whipped cream and strawberries...or buy a sponge or pound cake, some blueberries and strawberriesand whip up some heavy cream with vanilla and a little sugar
