Does anyone have a good easy recipe for a mojito?

I have been wanting to try a mojito but not a lot of bars in my area make them. I've heard the mixes aren't as good as the real ones.

You can totally make one, they're easy.light rum simple syrup (1 cup sugar + 1 cup water, heat up on stove to dissove sugar)icesoda waterlimefresh mint (produce dept. =$2)Muddle (smash) between 1/8th - 1/2 lime with peel in the bottom of pint glass or shaker mixer. Break off mint leaves, rub between hands or smash w/lime to express essence. Ice, a shot or two of rum, 6-8oz. soda water, syrup to taste. Mmm, where do you live, I'm coming over.
