| Keep a bottle of water near the bed and do your best to stay hydrated throughout the day..you can buy a 24 pack of water bottles at walmart for about 7 bucks at most. Thats the best way to fight dry mouth. Congrats on quitting and GOOD for you!!

| Did you, perhaps, start drinking more when you quit? I can't see how withdrawl from smoking, especially the small amount you smoked, would cause this symptom. I never had it. Drinking, though, definitely causes that to happen. If you find you are having a couple of drinks before bed on the nights this happens, the alcohol is most likely the culprit. The water next to the bed suggestion is a good idea in any case.
