 What ring to buy for korean woman? I keep trying to find some answer, but folks keep saying:"who cares?" I'm planning on asking my GF (age 42), who has lived all her life in Korea, to marry me. I have looked up the marriage traditons here (Korea) and I'm cool with her family. They only worry about her leaving the country and will I have a stable job. But what is the correct way (culturally) to ask? Should I have cheap engagement ring with expensive wedding ring as some say is normal here, or vice-versa? Also, SHould I just buy the ring or ask her first ( I know she will say yes) and then take her to choose. Koreans out there... help?
