please i need help!?

I found out that my best friend of ten years has been saying nasty things about me behind my back. And when i say nasty i mean really nasty. This girl has been like a sister to me and i would never think of saying anything like that about her. What should i do? Talk to her or just forget about it?

She is not your best friend if she really intends to damage your reputation, otherwise it might be your misperception or taking things seriously. First of all, define what is nasty. Does nasty things mean sharing your personal matters or secrets with others which you don't like or putting accusations on you or spreading baseless, disgraceful information about you? If she is spreading baseless, disgraceful information about you, just forget it. If she is seriously disclosing your personal secrets to others with malign intentions, talk to her and make it very clear to her that she should not do this as a best friend.Good luck!

You need to find out why she has been saying stuff.I'd ask her straight up.And then depending on her response, you should decide if she really is worth keeping on as a friend, as tbh she doesn't sound like it.

Hi,I think you should talk to her, remember to be very kind to her as she will feel bad for what she did, let her know how you feel, then forget about her. She does not deserve your friendship.
