| It depends on the season but a nice champagne color is always pretty - unless you have really fair skin. Champagne mainly looks good on those with medium to dark skin tones. You can wear a lightly patterned dress (nothing too wild) that has hints of red in it.

| A deep hot pink is great with red, very "in" these days and everyone looks good in pink. The photos will pop.

| Why don't you do royal blue or emerald green, if they look good on you. What's most important is that you look good, not that you match her décor.

| I would suggest a dark wine color or some color that does not stand out because you don't want to take away from your daughter on her special day. I would not wear black unless it is trimmed with other colors because you would not want to appear to be against the wedding and upset and wear a dress that you would wear to a funeral. Congratulations and Good Luck!~Candice~

| My wedding was also red, and my mom wore a sequined black dress (not so sequined that it was over-the-top flamboyant). It went well with everything and the photos turned out great. Before wearing black to her wedding, check with your daughter though!Cream or beige with red accents would also go well. Check that the accents are close to the same red that she's chosen.

| I would go with a soft silver color. That will look great with the red dresses. You could also go with a light gold color that will also show very well. Enjoy the wedding and have a great time.

| My wedding color is red also. My mother found a beautiful sapphire blue dress, it looks great with the red, and very patriotic - I'm getting married on the 30th.

| Is she using any accent colors? I had red in my wedding and used the accents of blue and silver. I had my dad in a tux with a silver vest and tie so my mom wore a silver top and black skirt. They looked great.

| I agree with everyone that is saying stay away from red. If you want to wear black make sure you ask your daughter first to be sure she won't be insulted. Since red is such a strong color, go with a pastel - blue, green, golden yellow (nothing orangey). Just make sure it doesn't wash you out to the point of disappearing and that you don't clash with the red.Good Luck
