least hassle? We live in VA. We're looking for a place preferably without a long waiting period and where it will be easy to find an officiant. We're moving to the UK and I cannot start my student dependent visa application unless we are in a legally sanctioned union. (as long as its recognized by the state its given in the UK will recognize it)

Is this a gay marriage? If it is take a look on Pride or Gay websites. If not city hall should work just fine.Best of luck!

I got married at the court house in Richmond. Went right from the Clerk's office to the officiate - Cost about $20 and took 10 minutes.in 1984, we had to take blood tests - but I don't think you need them any more. If in doubt, there's always Maryland.
