 I have a new friend that talks continuously about her ''cute''(?) children and... ...I've had enough. I've never met anyone that goes on and on about her children, how cute they are (sorry I don't see it) well behaved (in her mind) and now I can't stand to be in her presence as it seems the conversation is one sided. All I can do is listen. I have beautiful children but do not even mention the 'fact'. I wouldn't. All you have to do is have eyes. I just dont' talk about my children , it's not in my nature. I don't know how to get her to put a lid on it and go on to some other subject. Or even to let me talk. Any ideas or suggestions? I'm about to snuff this friendship out and it's barely started.
