How often are grandparents rights upheld in Texas? I am not my grandsons biological grandmother, I am the step mother to the my grandsons father.
I was asked to babysit him from the time he was 4months old until he was almost 3, when he was put into preschool/daycare.
When he was very little his parents came to me and said that they decided to let him call me grandma, because I was more of a grandmother to him than his own mother was.
My daughter in law told her co workers that I was like a second mother to him, and she never had to worry about him while I had him.
But recently, we have had a falling out. I did nothing to betray them, did nothing hurtful, we have found out recently that the mother is upset because she says she is tired of having to justify to me why she is telling me no, when I call to see if we can spend some time with him.....thats now why we haven't seen him.
My husband is his biological grandfather, Do we, him or I have any rights?
