 How do you get over an insensitive sister? My sister's been selfish and insensitive to me all her life.I kinda got used to her being the way she is,but it sometimes hurts when 'm always there for her and her kids and she never even bothers to call when i'm ill.I want to stop feel bitter about it.I just don't know how.Can anybody out there help me?

| the easy answer is to just treat her the same way that she treats you, but that may be an immature approach..... but really, if a person, no matter who they are, never seems to reciporate the time and effort that a relationship needs, then its time to back off. i am not saying cut your sister off, but just do not over extend yourself to her. trust me, when she begins to notice the change and asks you about it, simply state what the problem is and has been, and for now not over-extending yourself is working for you because your tired of being there for her, and her never being there for you.the truth usually works, and maybe it will make her wake up.

| you be your self ,she never gone change,but if you stop care about her it's hurt you ,not her.because you valued relation,she don't.best is yours and her kids gone a learn about it.then doesn't hurt you any more.to change her out of question,but what you doing it's right.she don't relies how lucky she is,,, her loss...your gain is goodness.(we had same in my family)
