| two issues here, you need to get his father to agree meeting terms, and you need to report them both for assault.don't ever let anyone get away with hitting you, unless deep down you know you got what you deserved

| I know exactly how you feel. I have a 3 year old daughter and her father pays maintenance wich means he is alowed visitation rights. But he drinks alot and uses drugs. He doesn't make a mence to come see his daughter out of his own and she is very confused. I'd say go to court and get full custody of your son. Let him see his father under supervision. Nowadays fathers got too many rights, it's not that easy getting rid of them. Good luck.

| Tell your son that you love him and that you feel it's in his best intresrest not to see his dad and when he's older he can make the descision as to whetheer or not he wants to see him.-stay strong

| I really feel for you. I have a useless ex just like you, who won't even see his son. I think the best thing is if you could get him to do supervised visits to his son only (see a solicitor, remember you may qualify for legal aid), then if he's late or he doesn't show up he will have to deal with the consequences. As for what happened in the pub, i'm horrified! You're well within your rights to report that to the police as assault. You shouldn't ever have to deal with that. Good luck and lots of love xx

| i think you are right in keeping your son away from your ex, you can explain that daddy has to work long hours and may not be able to see him , or you can organised supervised visits with a social worker , either way make sure your boy is not alone with him ,
