I have asked my parents several times if I could get a nose ring. My dad is completley opposed, but my mom thinks it's cute. However, she will not go against my dad's wishes. They have told me that if I were to pierce it that the consequences would not be worth itBut here's the thing: I have been struggling with selfconfidence and weight issues for a couple of years now. I have decided to get the body that I want. My reward: A nose piercing.I brought it up to my mother, and she didn't really say yes or no. She DID say that she doesn't want to go behind her husbands back.My mom went behind my dads back about 3 years ago, and took my brother to get a tattoo. My dad had FORBIDDEN them. My mom made a deal with my bro that if he were to get straight A's for a whole term, that he could get a tattoo. Well, made the honor roll So I explained to my mom to my mom that this is a very important goal for me. How can I convince my parents that this would mean a lot to me?I would love it if I could get serious, thourough answers, as this is very important to me.
