best/close friends for a few yrs; talk on the phone almost every night but still had our own thing goin on; has had a "thing" for me since we've met; friends say he "adores"me and i've been oblivious; i'm the only one that "opens"him up & i feel comfortable around him. few months back, both were mutual about our deep feelings for each other and "hooked up" (kisses/cuddles); decided now is not the time to pursue anything serious so we stayed friends

he's also had this girl that he's been good friends with too but she's too outgoing for him. they're good friends in the sense that they hang out all the time. I shouldn't make it a big deal but i get jealous because she's the type of girl that an "attention whore" (she doesn't mean to but she doesn't know when to stop with her words and actions) and he tells me everything but he'll tell her things he's embarassed to tell me..

i know she would NEVER be interested and i know he doesn't like her but for some reason i get jealous...why?
i notice when our convo has it's quiet awkward moments, he'll tell a RANDOM story and somewhat reference her and say, "oh yeah, i heard this on the radio and she's the type that's interested in that stuff so i told her about it and blaaaaah blaaaah blaaah...."

I think you are in love with this guy but he is not and he seems to enjoy his time with both of you. I had a girlfriend like that and I didn't wanna hurt her so I told her that we can be friends but not couple. this guy that you are going ot with seems like a guy who will not tell you the truth of the future between you. I say move on and save your future . who knows, someone else who truly loves you will comme along
