Have you ever had a co-worker get fired after you invited him/her to your wedding?

 Have you ever had a co-worker get fired after you invited him/her to your wedding? I think invitations and co-workers are cursed for me. One of my co-workers got let go recently. He already RSVP'd yes for my wedding. Considering outside of work, we have nothing else in common, should I just count on him to no show the wedding? Basically, is there anyone else out there that has been in this position? How did you see it play out?
