Because boy's want to seem macho and strong. It is less likely for a girl to find being strong as bad.

God has created Male as dominant and strong, the female has been created as soft and delicate creature. This domination has been announced in all the heavenly books especially Al-Qur'an.It is a natural phenomenon the a dominant creature always feel proud to be accepted in its actual position and feel insult when degraded or called to be of lower grade.I'm sure I get the best points and many thumbs up on this.

Masculine girls DO mind if they're called a boy even though they may have male moustache and beard growth and be breastless. It's a challenge to their sexual identity.
