Okay, I have this problem.....I have 4 kids and have met this girl with 3 kids and our children are friends. However she got mad at her 3 year old for not buckling herself up so she pinched her inner thigh the little girl started balling. I felt so bad for her I piped up and said that was mean! She needed help, and she went on to say that she knows how and she was just being stupid. I was speechless. Well I saw the little girls grandpa (dads side) and asked if she was a little off. He went into great detail that she is not only a little but she is off the deep end. But I feel bad for her kids. The little girls dad is not with her mom. What should I do? BTW the mom owes me money.

I know how you would feel, but she is not really abusing her kids... So, a pinch, but it could be MUCH MUCH worse. I would not interfere, and It was probably a bad idea to tell the girls grandfather, as he will most likely approach your friend and she will no longer trust you, especially if the grandfather's son and your friend are no longer together. If it is a big sum of money, I would ask her for it before ending your friendship. If it is a small amount, I wouldn;t worry. I would also get out of the friendship fast!!
