It's my Dad's birthday again, and again my sister and I have no idea what to get him. We are both in our mid twenties, if it matters. The problem, that is always the problem, is that we don't like him or know him that well. Frankly, he doesn't like us much either, but we try to remain cordial at the very least. My sister took care of Father's Day, so I'm on Birthday patrol.

Another thing is that he is, for lack of a better word, rich. He already has everything he could ever want, and god knows that anything we can buy him will never be better than anything he already has. So, I don't know what he likes and he doesn't need anything. Every Christmas, Birthday, and Father's Day, the same thing. What the hell do we get Dad? Any ideas?

He's mid 50's, retired.

Give him something he can't buy....a pic of the both of you when all of you were young in the same picture....and get a nice frame too....he will love it....
