At first yes, and now they are getting old and the show is no longer interesting just like Family Ties, Cosby's show, Growing Pains, Rosanne, Who's The Boss etc..... The longer the show runs, the shows tends to lack the luster, energy, funniness and get too serious to keep going. So far the only show seems to defy that is The Simpson. They had some bad runs there for awhile and bounced back after airing Future Rama which short lived.
