The movie "American History X"?

I watched it twice when was a teenager. Just watched it tonight and I have the most comprehensive understanding of the movie then I ever did before. I could not help but cry. Now that I am a grown woman, I can understand the concept of this film. I know that this is an occurring issue in the world today and it just brought the most emotion from me. I think Edward Norton should have gotten an Acadamy Award for his performance in this movie. He was brilliant! Absolutley brilliant! Is there anyone else that feels the same way about this movie and the acting portrayed in the film that I do?I am so glad that you all feel the same way about the movie and the acting. The little brother that acted in Terminator 2 was Edward Furlong.

Yes. One of the best movies I've ever seen (at least in top 10). Ed Norton should have gotten an Academy Award, but apparently he is no match for an Italian man nobody can understand.

I agree completely it is a very very good movie with great acting and a even better story. I just wish the little brother did not have to die after he changed his mind set.

ive seen it several times too, and it was a great movie. i thoughtthe actors were awsome and i still cant get that part wgere they stomp that guys jaw into the curb outta my head! i dont htink i ever will either! great movie!

I love this movie also. It tells of how our society really is, a black and white issue. Edward Norton should have received an academy award for his performance!!!! to this day I still cannot watch the scene where he stomps the black man's head on a curb like a pumpkin!!!!! it made me cry!!!! As an African American woman it made me feel so sad, empty. and hollow as a person, that another human being thinks that way about another human being!!!! Just think it is 2007 and nothing much has really changed in America, But I am still hoping that change comes about.
