 Good movies with influences from books like 1984? anyone know of more movies with plots like Equalibrium, Minority Report, Gattica, and logans run. Plots are about perfect societies with a huge down side.

| There are quite a few of these movies, some of my favorites are...V for VendettaRollerball (the original not the remake)The Time MachineThe Handmaid's TaleWestworld (but not Futurewold, it's horrible)Demolition ManI'm not sure if it belongs in the category, but Robocop shows corporate America gone awry and the damage that it causes to society.If you want books, then I would say...The Running Man by Stephen King (so not the movie)Anything by Philip K. **** (he wrote the story Minority Report)Brave New World by Aldous Huxley (do not see the movie)
