 Will the fact that I was placed on academic probation 6 years ago hurt my... ...chance of going to law school? My first semester as an undergraduate was a mess. I was an engineering major and I pulled a 1.80 my first semester (Fall 2001) because I failed a 5 unit chemistry class. I was only on probation for the one semester. I ended up switching majors and ended up graduating with a 3.0 in Business Admin. Now, I am applying to law schools and on their app they as "have you ever been placed on academic probation in the past." Would answering yes to this probably end any chance of getting in? I scored a 163 on the LSATs.
