What could prove I am really really poor?

I want to apply for a scholarship and have been asked to provide evidence of financial hardship, what could show that I am not able to pay the Â£6000 a year?I only have a document showing my father's income but I am 22 does that mean I have to provide to prove that I am personally not well off either?I do have bank statements and I am not working any longer.What else could prove I am poor as a beggar (literally)?
