 is there anything special about numbers after 1492? someone told me that when he checks the pronunciation of numbers before 1492 in a talking dictionary , they are pronounced like "one thousand and four hundred and ... " .... but from 1492 (Discovery of America ) it changes to fourteen ninety two and so on ....any special reason ? ...thanks ...I know that 1492 is the year that columbos came to America ...
