 If my dad can't pay a PLUS loan he took out for me, who has to pay? My dad took out a PLUS loan for me in order to pay for my college tuition as required by a court settlement. If he can't/doesn't pay the loan, do I ever become responsible for it? Are there any circumstances under which I could become responsible for the loan amount? Could anyone else be responsible for it (like my mom) unwillingly?
