I have a 15 yr old that does well academically in the PS but not socially she hates the mean and bullying kids.For the past few years she has had a problem "fiting in" with some of her peers.When she did work hard to "fit in" she just ended up with lower grades and getting into trouble.This is making her depressed and I am really worried about her. I am considerering taking her out of the PS system and allowing her to enroll in FL virtual school.My husband is nearly convinced, where he prev. had the attitude she should tough it out.As for socialization I am not sure what to do. After reading posts here I am probably thinking to much about it.She is currently on a mission trip with the youth from our church and then continuing to a trip with a Venture Crew (co-ed boyscout type group). My question is what experience have others had beginning a homeschooling atmosphere at HS level and has anyone had experience with FL vitual school?I don't think I am confortable with teaching her myself.
