 We routinely have our schoolwork done by lunch. We usually have plans for the afternoons, so the kids know if they what to do the other plans, they need to finish the schoolwork in the morning.Keep in mind that unlike a public school setting, the child can move at their own pace. They do not have to wait for the rest of the class to catch up to move on to a new level or topic. Public schools are notoriously inefficient. Homeschooling is usually extremely efficient.

| Yes i just finished grade 10 online and I finished the 4 main subjects in a bit over a month with a B average

| It really depends on the age of the child, and how motivated the child is to learn quickly. Younger kids need less time with organized academics, and more time for hands on exploring. High schoolers will spend more time on the core academics if they are headed to college, and are learning to apply critical thinking skills as part of their education.
