 Question about storage medium: Magnetic drum, paper tape, hard disk? Is magnetic drum and drum memory the same? When using magnetic drum, is paper tape or punch card used together with it? What are the differences between magnetic drum, paper tape and punch card? Is this sentence correct? >> Before the magnetic drum is invented, punch card and paper tape are used to store data in the 1800s. IBM 305 and IBM 350, which one is a hard disk? I am confused because some of the websites say it was IBM 305 while some say it is IBM 350. This is for my presentation.
