linksys router?

i can not connnett wireless thru my linksys router. my internet light on the router keeps blinking. My wireless card is fine as far as i know. How can you tell if rounter is broken, should the internet light on the router should be soild or should it be blinken. also my laptop says there is no network to connett to.

it should be solid.. reset it

If it NEVER worked, then start the installation again. If it WAS working, try unplugging the POWER cord, waiting 5 seconds, and plugging it back in.

Power off router. Power off modem. Wait 1 minute. Power up modem and wait until it is initialized. Power up router. Internet light should be solid.
