I burnt a movie of 700 MB in my dvd using MAKE DATA CD OPTION IN NERO but?

when i played the dvd in the dvd player the sound was heard before the video.....and whn i played it in my PC it worked properlythe file was of avi format....and my dvd support DIVX formatplease help meactually i wanted to burn 5-6 movies in a DVDnd how can you know which format of DIVX my dvd player supportsASNWER TO KRRISSSHHHHit works fine in my pc then why not in my DVD PLAYERand if i re-encode it to DIVX are u sure it will workohnow what do i dore-encode to divx and try again?are .avi n divx the same?

First of all use a CD to burn 700MB, dont waste a DVD. Check which versions of DIVX does your standalone DVD player can play.
