How do I log in to an administrator's account without a password on Windows XP?

I forgot the password.? I need the password or I need to delete the user account and create a new administrator account. Please help. I cannot make any changes to the computer without the administrator account.

You can't. U need a password for the administrator to make any changes.

you should have had a hint on your account. click on it and it gives you the hint you put in to remember the password.

You have to reboot ur PC, and Press F8 once the computer starts, in order to enter the safe mode. You will have the Windows user screen but u won't be asked for the password. enter the user account and edit the password, then restart ur PC normally.
Remember You have to enter the Safe Mode to do this
