Counter Strike 1.6 freezes when only 2 bars left to load a server??

I only have 1 game on steam,
i have the recent updates
i cant reinstall

i heard that uninstalling the patch andre downloading can fix it if i got a error from the last patch but i dont know how, i asked this question like 5 time and have gotten no helpful answer please help.
