| It has been ONE MONTH now that the Royal Banks of Scotland ATM didnt produce the 300 quid I requested - and despite them admitting it had a technical fault - i still havent had my money back. I`ve lodged a complaint with the financial ombudsman - how much longer will it take? Who knows the procedure with the Ombudsman? This has been a joke - I hope they`re going to compensate me... anyone know anything about this?????

| Try to get a signed written statement from the person that said it had a problem. just keep hounding the bank officaials untill they giv it to you. get the guy who told you that to tell it to the bank manager. ur probably not going to get it, banks arent in teh business of giving away money. Get a credit union. they are non profit and actually care about people.

| same happened to me thats why i closed my account at rbs and opened a new account good luck anyway

| In the US a bank has 30 days to give you credit or send you a letter saying they don't believe there is an error. I would find somebody else to talk to at the Bank and tell them you want action.

| I saw this happen to someone and I was totally horrified. I feel so sorry for you - I'm not sure how it is taken care of, but if it were me I would go to the bank and throw a fit until they gave me my money back. I'm not very patient...and I'm a grown woman.

| I saw this happen to someone and I was totally horrified. I feel so sorry for you - I'm not sure how it is taken care of, but if it were me I would go to the bank and throw a fit until they gave me my money back. I'm not very patient...and I'm a grown woman.

| I had the same thing with a nationwide a t m .I asked for three hundred and the machine failed to pay out then i took a statement and found that the money had been taken from my account .So i phoned my bank and thy told me the money had been taken but was credited back minutes later so there is no reason you should have to wait for this money.
