Since American business have "Outsourced" manufacturing and everything else they do, as the US Dollar drops we will see rising import prices which will lead to rising prices in the things you buy at wal-mat etc.. Having said that we probable only import a limit amount from England. When Amercian's go to England on vacation they will pay more. Also since London and NYC are the two biggest financial centers in the world, as the pound sterling appreciates and the US dollar goes down, London will get more of the worlds business as companies will want to deal with a good stable/appreciating currency and not a declining currency. Also since Brent Crude Oil is now the major pricing mechanism for "World Oil" as the pound goes up against the dollar the price of oil will also go up, accordingly. Also as the pound gets stronger you will see more English on vacation on the east coast and buying amercian vacation houses on the east coast.
