I work at subway and whenever yor are short money in the cash register they take the money out of your check (Split it between who you work with). We never come up that short though. Every night we leave the register at $100, one night we had $319 even I droped $219 the person I was with made sure it was all in there attached it to the ticket and stuck it in the money bag (since our safe is broken and it would have been pointless to just slide it in there. The safe wont close so it just stays open. We left, and the next day the manager called me and said she was short $100 and that I only droped $119. Could I really be responsible for that since they don't have a working safe and I had a co-worker who saw me place the money in the bag, and she also counted it. Also are they able to take money out of your check at anytime when you are short.
