credit card refund does the company have to refund to card holder?

if card is still active refund is processed on the card....account holder can get it transfered to someother his own credit card or can visit bank to collect cheque from the bank.

Under section 75 of the consumer credit act the credit card company is jointly liable with the supplier where the supplier is in breach of contract or has made a fraudulent misrepresentation.The value of the transaction must be between Â£100 and Â£30,000.
