I'm seriously thinking about getting a 3/4 sleeve on my left arm. I've been mulling it over for the past 2 years. I've pretty much decided that I'm going to do it. I have an idea of what I will want on my arm for the rest of my life. I know that the tattoos that I get will have meaning. I've read a fair amount of different info on tattooed women. What I want out of this posting is how your life changed when you started or completed your sleeve. Did people treat you differently? Friends or family? In public situations, work? How and where? Do you have kids? How do your tattoos affect that aspect of your life? Do you regret any of your tattoos? Just anything, however minuscule you think it is. I would love to hear it. Everyone I've asked has just told me to do it and I need some kind of other opinion. Please serious replies only. Don't write something here just because you need points. Thank you to everybody who read this and replies seriously.

I do not have a sleeve tat, but here's what I have to say..I have three different tattooes, did not get then till I was in my 30's, I have 3 grown sons, they each have tat's also, this was done while they were in their 20's, only one of mine is partially visible if I wear a low cut blouse or shirt, a vine of roses from middle of breast to the top of my shoulder with a small heart as the beginning, the other is on my butt (That one really hurt-don't recommend that area) so did breast area, not so bad on shoulder. My son has a skull and a snake wrapping around it on his forearm, and he's had people ask if he was a Satanist (stupid, but they asked) another son has them ALL over his body, and even to me they look a bit too much, but I raised them to be their own person, and not to worry about what others think, it's how you act not how you look...but yes some people still have distaste for tattoes and will treat you different, since it's on the arm, even employers will be judgmental about you....I don't regret my tattoo, but they are out of sight, they are for me anyway...sort of like a personal statement, if you will. Think about it, be sure to go to a Clean, liscened artist, and take proper care of them after wards....
