Why do women dress to impress other women not there significant others?

Don't know, I dress to impress myself, not my mate, if I look in the mirror, and am happy with how I have put myself together. Then that make my day, and I don't think most women dress to impress each other, it's just that we know that other women will notice what we are wearing as oppose to men.

they want other girls to look at them and be jealous or envious of their style. to be a style setter (no one wants to be the follower). to be the hottest thing in the room. plus women figure once they got the guy why try to still doll herself up to impress him... shes already got him.

They do dress for other women but will never admit it. If they dress how their men want, other women call them skanks and ho's. It is disgusting how women treat each other. And women who say they dress to please themselves are crazy; how much time do you spend in front of the mirror admiting yourself?

As A Man When I Really Love A Woman She Does Not Need To Dress To Impress Me. I See Past The Clothes And Accessories. I Am Looking At Her Eyes Her Face The Smile On Her Lips That I Love To Kiss. And Of Course Her Sweet Butt Too!

Well, we don't exactly dress to impress other women, so much as to look better than them. It is that way because of our human nature. The main reason we survive is to procreate, and our natural instinct is to go for the best of the best.A guys instinct is to procreate with the top of the species, so we as women want to be the top. We dress up and do all the crazy painful stuff we do, to get the attention drawn away from other women, and to be the best. It all comes down to primal instinct.
