I want to get white ink on both of my wrists/forearms, from where my hands meet my arms, to about the middle of my forearm. They are, on my right arm: very simple line drawing of Ganesh, and the words "Just Breathe", because i have serious panic attacks and i want Ganesh to remind me that objects in my path, are not the end of the world, and will be eventually moved, either by me, or him. The text is to remind me the best way i have discovered to deal with my attacks. To Breathe. The left arm: a pentacle in a lotus (also a line drawing) and the words "Know Thyself" mainly as an affermation to myself and my dedication to my religion (ecclectic witchcraft). What i want to know is if anyone else has white ink on their wrists and how much they get noticed, like at work/school and if they have to cover them as a result...

First. The white ink will show up more depending on your skin tone. I am pale and mine shows up very well. It is also on the inside of my forearm. I have had it a while, took great care of it during healing and put sunscreen on it all the time.

You can see it if you are looking for it, but from a distance it is difficult to see.

White ink is difficult to tattoo because they cannot put a proper outline on you as it will turn the white ink blue. For this reason, something as detailed as what you are describing might not work.

Also, UV ink has not been approved by the FDA as a safe ink to put into your body.

What you should do is really go talk to your artist, see what he/she thinks and what your options are.

White Ink Looks Almost Invisible. It Looks More Like A Burn Than Anything... But Alot Of Tattoo Artists, Wont Mess With That. They Wont Outline A Tattoo In White. Theres Kinda No Point. You Might Be Better Off Asking To See If They Can Do It In A Night Light Ink. Meaning, Itll Glow When You Are Under A Black Light. Thats Your Best Option When It Comes To Not Showing It Off.
Consider Writing That In Black Ink, But Just In Small Writing... Might Work Better For You And The Artist..

It looks kinda like a burn/scar. Im not sure what color your skin is, but a light red or brown isnt as noticeable.
